How do I import a list of officials from a spreadsheet?

Your games board, assignments, crews, roster, and settings.

  1. On the Roster tab, click Import officials.
  2. Copy the rows from your spreadsheet in this order: last name, first name, email, sport (a phone number is optional). Paste them into the box. A sheet with a header row, like an Arbiter export (FirstName, LastName, Email, CellPhone), can be copied whole, title row included: Skybox reads the columns by their headings and ignores ones like address and Arbiter id.
  3. Optional: pick a list under Add everyone to list (Boys, Girls, Master or Observers). Everyone on the sheet goes on that list, and its button appears above your roster.
  4. Optional: if the sheet has no sport column, type one in Sport for rows with none (for example Basketball). An official with no sport does not show up when you assign a game.
  5. Click Check list. Skybox shows who is new, who is already in Skybox, who is already on your roster, and who has PIAA clearance dates on file.
  6. Click Add N to the roster.

Anyone already in Skybox is matched by email and added to your roster, never duplicated. A phone number only fills a blank: it never replaces one already on file. PIAA clearance dates (Act 34, Act 151, Act 114) are copied onto officials found in the PIAA registry. No emails go out. To invite them, use Email invite on each card, or ask Skybox about sending a setup email to everyone.
