Use a restriction for a real conflict, such as where an official lives, teaches, coaches or has a child enrolled.

  1. On the Roster tab, open the official's card.
  2. Under RESTRICTIONS, click + Add Block.
  3. Choose School Block (all games) or Game Block (one game).
  4. Pick the school or game.
  5. Optional: choose a Reason: Lives in the district, Works or teaches there, Coaches there, Family at the school, Alumni, School request, Conflict of interest, or Other. Add Details if you like, for example "girls JV."
  6. Click Save.

The reason shows on the card next to the block, for example "School: Shaler (Coaches there: girls JV)."

A school block covers every game that school is in, home, away or hosting. The official shows as RESTRICTED for those games and cannot be picked or put on-deck. It stays until you remove it: click ✕ next to a restriction.

A restriction is for a conflict that does not go away. To stop an official from working one school too often, use an auto-block rule instead. See "How do I set up auto-block rules?"
