How do game confirmations work?

Build your season and keep everyone up to date.

Skybox emails the opposing AD to confirm each game, from your school's own Skybox inbox, signed with your name. Turn this on, and choose the rounds, in Settings > Email Alert Preferences under Game confirmation cadence: 30 days (early), 14 days, 7 days and 3 days out. For a new school it starts off. Turning it off pauses all automated outreach for your school, including bus company confirmations and the confirmation texts.

  • The opponent confirms with one tap: no login, no account.
  • A "confirmed" email reply counts too. Skybox reads it and updates the game.
  • The opponent can also propose a new date or time from the same link. It comes to you to review.
  • Confirmed games drop out right away. Postponed and cancelled games are left out.
  • Secretary escalation: if a game is still unconfirmed, Skybox can email the opposing athletic secretary at 14 and 3 days out.
  • Optional texts: a 6-day follow-up and a 2-day urgent text to the opposing AD (in Settings > SMS Alert Preferences).

Out-of-office and auto-reply emails are recognized and never set off false alerts. The Audit Report prints your confirmation rate by season, the receipt you show your district.
