Skybox prints end-of-season certificates for your athletes using your school's own certificate. You set each design up once, and every team prints from it. Certificates are turned on per school: if you do not see Certificate Designs on your Rosters page, ask Skybox to turn them on.

  1. Go to Rosters and click Certificate Designs.
  2. Type a name for the certificate (for example, Varsity Letter or Participation Award) and choose an image of it, as a PNG or JPEG. From Canva, use Share, Download, PNG.
  3. Click Add design. Three fields appear in the middle: Athlete name, Sport and School year.
  4. Drag each field onto the spot where it belongs. Pick its font, size, color and alignment on the right. The arrow keys nudge the selected field.
  5. Click Save.

Good to know:

  • More fields: use Add field for the team (Varsity Boys Soccer), level, season, school name, the coach's name, the athletic director's name, or your own words.
  • Names on the signature lines: add Coach name and Athletic Director name and drag each onto its line. The coach is the team's head coach from your Coaches page, and the athletic director is the AD name in Settings.
  • Sample name on your image? Add a Cover box over it and match its color to the paper.
  • Pre-printed certificate paper? If you print onto certificate sheets that already have the design on them, upload a scan of a blank sheet and tick Pre-printed paper: print the words only. The image becomes your guide for placing the words, and only the words print.
  • A PDF will not upload. Save it as a PNG or JPEG image first.
  • The AD, assistant AD and secretary can add or change designs. Coaches can print but cannot change designs.
  • Coach and AD signature lines are left blank for signing by hand, unless you add a field there.
